The highest number of claims under our handling are casualty claims particularly liability exposure of various professionals. We have established highly effective means of assessing liability claim exposure with a pro-active (not wait & see) approach. Our rapid intervention and detailed early investigation allows our principals to quickly assess risk and provide carefully considered settlement instructions, which, in over 90% of our cases, avoid litigation.
Whether it be denying a third-party claim or attempting to settle through direct negotiation, the file investigative conclusions and expert opinions are in place, avoiding the surprise of letting a file value increase exponentially once litigation is initiated.
Should a matter require that the dispute be settled through litigation, we continue to assist legal counsel with their investigative needs and/or provide testimony during trial.
Our Architect & Engineer team along with our Special Risk Department have experience in all Professional Liability “Claims Made” policies along with equal experience with CGL occurrence-based coverage.
